VIOLETS MAKE ME SMILE

Violets make me smile.

Dandelions do too.

Mourning Doves scratch on a sunny perch.

Camellias blast forth in loud exuberance.

Cheerfulness sweetly commune with buttercups.

But violets make me smile.

  1. Just love violets. Reminds my of my grandmother. Loverly memories! The violets in your last photo we've always called Confederate violets. They're my favorite!

  2. Me too!! They come up even when Husband persists in mowing them. I love their determination.

  3. I confess that the dandelions and buttercups make me think of all the grass there is to cut. They are pretty though.

The camellias, however, are gorgeous. Thank you for the bouquet (not to be confused with a bucket-a little Hyacinth humor there)of them which now adorns my kitchen table.

  5. Wonderful, wonderful violets. So dainty and delicate looking, yet so hardy and colorful. Who can not love them. After a long winter of dull browns and grays, they are a sight for sore eyes in the spring. The trees are getting greener every day....and everything else is turning pollen yellow.
